What is the difference between Disney parks and other amusement parks around the world?
Disney's parks are very different from other amusement parks in the world. Walter created a fantasy land that brought animated characters to life. It had many nice restaurants and new and different rides for both parents and kids. The idea of staying a week at the resort in Disney World was something completely different at the time. Disney World is not the average size of most parks, it is a lot bigger.. about the size of San Francisco. Disney World contains the Magic Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon (water park), Pleasure Island (nightly entertainment), Epcot, MGM studios, and a nature preserve. There are so many different rides and shows to see in Disney World that one has to rush just to do everything in a week. People really enjoy the experience and the fun they have with their families. It is definitely a memory they will keep with them throughout their lives.
"It's something that will never be finished. Something that I can keep developing...and adding to." -Walter Disney
